Which categories of personal data are collected and processed by the app?

To use the app your first and last name, your e-mail address, the company you are working for and a pass code are required.

The app does not collect nor process other personal data of its users unless voluntarily provided by the user.

What are the purposes for the data processing?

The collected data are used for logging, authentication, reserving training space at events and providing information that was requested of presenters at various events.

Do we use tracking tools?

We use Google Analytics to learn about the usage of the application and the time users spend using the application.

The only information collected is the type and model of your device and the country from which you use the app.

We will analyze the information in an anonymized way for statistical purposes just to learn about the usage of the app.

In particular, the app uses the "mask IP" functionality and no other unique identifiers are collected.

Should you prefer to prevent your device from getting tracked at all you may turn off tracking in the application settings.

We will retain your data no longer than necessary for the purposes as described above.

Who will have Access to your personal data?

We restrict access to your personal data to ABB employees or ABB suppliers' personnel, all of them instructed and obliged to secrecy, who need to know that information in order to provide or maintain our services.

Will the App disclose personal data to third parties?

We will not rent, sell trade or otherwise disclose your personal data to other companies or individuals outside the ABB Group unless (i) we have obtained your explicit consent; or (ii) we use trusted businesses or persons to support us in providing the service in which case such third parties are subject to agreements that oblige them to process the data only on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy; or (iii) we conclude that we are required by law or have a good faith belief that access, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of ABB, its users or the public.

We may store and process personal information collected on our site in any country in which ABB or our hosting providers maintain facilities. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your information among these facilities, including those located outside your country.

You may also withdraw your consent with effect for the future. Please note that in this case you will not be able to use the app anymore.

Please note this Privacy Policy will change from time to time. We expect most such changes to be minor, but there may be changes that are more significant.
