However, we will gather some information about the location of the device running the app to solely facilitate you to automatically set the appropriate time zone of the ABB timer to configure, but we are not able to connect this information to any particular person, neither retain this information into ABB servers.

The data we collect about you and how we get it

We do not collect your personal data. However, ABB DBT Timer app uses information about the location of the device so it would be able to define the time zone to determine daylight saving settings. That will enable you to automatically program the device according to the position detected at the time of using the app. The position detection service is automatically enabled by the DBT timer APP when you are using the app. The position and settings of the timer are just stored on your personal device and not saved on ABB servers. We don’t collect information about your age, gender or any other information that could lead to your identification. We don’t ask our users to log in or authenticate in our app. You can just use it without sharing any personal information with us.

What we use your data for

It’s necessary to check the time zone of the device so to allow you to set the appropriate time zone of the ABB timer to configure.

Data minimization

Our app requests only data relevant to the core functionality and uses data that is required to accomplish the relevant task. We do not request access to protected resources like photos or contacts. As we mentioned, our app can be used without a log-in. We do not store credentials or tokens.
