At ABB, respecting your data privacy rights is a top priority. This policy explains why and how we collect information about you and how we process such data. Power Grid Explorer does not collect any personally identifying information. However, we will gather information about the country from which you are using our app, the device you are using and how you use our app.

The data we collect about you and how we get it

We will not collect your personal data.

But still we have to get some information about our users for statistical reasons. Because of that we may collect limited non-personally identifying information that your device makes available whenever you use our app.

That is why we will collect information about the location of your device but only regarding the country from which you are using our app. This will be gathered automatically, when you are using the app.

What’s more? We also can get some information about the usage of the app – how much time you have spent using the app and how many sessions you had. We can also use the information we collect to find out how many active user the app has on a daily or monthly basis and how many new installs took place.

And finally, we may collect data about the files and videos that the app users are viewing – we will therefore know which files and videos were visited (accompanied by a timestamp).

We don’t collect information about your age, gender or any other information that could lead to your identification. We don’t ask our users to log in or authenticate in our app. You can just use it without sharing any personal information with us.

We use information about a country from which you are using our app to get a minimal knowledge about our users. It’s just for statistics yet in future this may help us to provide better and better service for you.

We use information about the device and how the app is used to improve our performance and service.

Our app requests only data relevant to the core functionality and uses data that is required to accomplish the relevant task. We do not request access to protected resources like photos or contacts. As we mentioned, our app can be used without a log-in. We do not store credentials or tokens.

We only keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this privacy notice. After this time, we will securely delete the data.
